Who we are
Website operator: ITART Consulting GmbH, Switzerland
Contact for privacy questions: info@itart.ch
1) What we do with visitors' data
The website itart.ch is for informational purposes. We do not use this website to intentionally collect, store, analyze, or share personal data of its visitors.
In particular, we do not provide:
- user accounts or registrations,
- newsletters or subscriptions,
- marketing tracking,
- profiling,
- advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
We do use a privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics service to understand aggregate website usage (see section 3).
2) Technical data required to operate the website
When you access the website, our hosting/technical infrastructure may automatically process basic technical data necessary to deliver the pages and keep the service secure (for example: IP address, date/time of access, requested page, browser/OS information, response status).
We use such data only to ensure website operation, security, and troubleshooting.
Legal bases:
- GDPR: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — ensuring security and stable operation of the website.
- Switzerland (revDSG/FADP): processing in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, proportionality, and security.
3) Web analytics with Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics to measure aggregate, anonymous traffic on our website (such as page views, referrers, approximate country, device type, and browser). This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it.
Plausible is designed to be privacy-friendly:
- It does not use cookies or any other persistent identifiers on your device.
- It does not collect or store any personal data, and it does not store IP addresses. IP addresses are processed only transiently to derive a daily, salted hash used to count unique visitors, and are then discarded.
- It performs no cross-site or cross-device tracking, and the data is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising.
Data processor: Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403, Tartu, Estonia (EU). The analytics data is hosted within the European Union (Germany). Plausible's data policy: https://plausible.io/data-policy.
Legal bases:
- GDPR: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — understanding aggregate website usage to improve the site. Because Plausible is cookieless and processes no personal data, no prior consent is required under the GDPR/ePrivacy/PECR rules on cookies and trackers.
- Switzerland (revDSG/FADP): lawful, proportionate processing limited to aggregate statistics, with no personal data stored.
Because no personal data is retained in the analytics dataset, there is effectively no individual record that could be accessed, rectified, or deleted.
4) Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design.
Your browser and operating system may use technical storage mechanisms (e.g., cache) which you can control via your browser/OS settings.
5) Operating system and browser providers
We are not responsible for data collection and use that may be performed by your operating system, browser, device manufacturer, or other software providers on your device.
We recommend that you review the privacy policies of the relevant providers and contact them directly if you need clarifications.
6) Links to third-party websites
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control their data processing practices. Their own privacy policies apply.
7) Your rights
If your personal data is processed in a specific context (for example, when you contact us by email), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data as applicable under GDPR and/or the Swiss revDSG/FADP. Please contact: info@itart.ch
